Esiele Abduction: Oyo Should Set The Pace On Security Matters In Nigeria — ” Aji Se Bi Oyo La N Ri…”

The Management of Absolute Security and Advance Protocol Ltd (ASAP) has strongly  denounced the alarming deterioration of security in Oyo State, especially the recent attack on schools in Oriire Local Government Area, where pupils and teachers were reportedly abducted and a teacher was killed.

This tragic incident is more than a criminal act. It is an assault on education, childhood, public order, and the collective conscience of society. A school is not just a building where lessons are taught. It is a sanctuary of hope, discipline, and national continuity. When children and teachers become targets of violence, the very foundation of communal life is shaken.

At this painful moment, Absolute Security and Advance Protocol Ltd (ASAP) stands in firm solidarity with the Government and the good people of Oyo State. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late teacher and to all families affected by this distressing incident. We also call for swift, coordinated, intelligence-led, and uncompromising action to rescue the abducted victims safely and ensure that all perpetrators face the full weight of the law.

The Yoruba saying, “Aji se bi Oyo la n ri, Oyo o se bi baba enikan,” carries a deep historical truth. Oyo is known for order, courage, collective responsibility, and structured leadership. This ancestral wisdom must now be translated into decisive action. The security of Oyo State cannot be treated as a routine matter. It demands urgency, vigilance, discipline, and a renewed commitment to communal protection.

Security is the first condition of development. Without safety, markets lose confidence, schools lose attendance, families lose peace, and government loses moral authority. No serious society can prosper where fear becomes normal. Therefore, the protection of lives, schools, communities, and public spaces must remain the highest priority.

The present moment calls for a new security imagination. Reaction alone is no longer enough. Oyo State needs preventive intelligence, stronger school protection frameworks, credible community alert systems, rapid response coordination, technological surveillance, and structured collaboration between government, formal security agencies, private security institutions, traditional authorities, school administrators, and local communities.

Absolute Security and Advance Protocol Ltd (ASAP) remains ready to contribute professional expertise, innovative security solutions, operational experience, and community-based strategies toward strengthening public safety and restoring confidence among the people.

We believe that with courageous leadership, collective resolve, and a practical security architecture rooted in local realities, Oyo State can overcome this threat and reclaim its rightful identity as a peaceful, organised, and secure state.

A secure Oyo State is not only possible. It is a duty we must all rise to fulfil.
